Blood Bowl Tournament - August 29th, 2026

Event Details:


This will be a 3 round tournament with each round having a 2.5 hour time limit. The doors will open at 11:00 AM and Round 1 will begin at 11:30 AM. The tournament is expected to end around 8:30 PM.

We will be using the Match Play rules for drafting a team using the official tiers as determined by the tier list currently in the book, found here: https://assets.warhammer-community.com/eng_14-11_bloodbowl_teamtiers-y3ogmbavut-zkhoiqlght.pdf

Further information on the number of skill points and their use may be found on page 112 of the Third Season Rulebook.

This will be a 3 round tournament with each round having a time limit of 2 hours and 15 minutes in the Swiss Pairing and Resurrection style.

The doors will open at 11:00 AM and Round 1 will begin at 11:30 AM with lunch being from 1:45 until 2:45. The tournament is expected to end around 7:30 PM.
Team Tiers and SPP allowances are as follows:
Tier 1 - 36 SPP
- Orcs, Skaven, Amazon, Dark Elf, High elf, Norse, Old World Alliance, Underworld Denizens, Wood Elf
Tier 2 - 48 SPP
- Chaos Dwarf, Dwarf, LizardmenNurgle, Bretonnian, Elven Union, Human, Imperial Nobility, Necromantic Horror, Shambling Undead, Tomb Kings
Tier 3 - 54 SPP
- Vampires*, Black Orc, Chaos Chosen, Chaos Renegade, Khorne
Tier 4 - 60 SPP
- Gnome, Goblin, Halfling, Ogre, Snotling
*Note: Teams with an asterisk are in a different tier than on the official tier list.

Coaches may assign up to 2 skills on one player from either primary or secondary trees, and there is no limit to the number of each skill you are allowed to bring! Star players cost 12 SPP to induce alongside their normal gold cost and Mega-Stars cost 24 SPP.

We will not be making use of the Star Player Highlander rule; both teams may use the same star player as rostered!
