War of the Spark Prerelease - the Endgame...

Magic: the Gathering's next set is War of the Spark, set to release on May 3rd. This set is the Endgame of more than 7 years of story of Magic. The Gatewatch and Nicol Bolas are calling in help from all over the Multiverse for their final showdown on Ravnica. 

WotC increased the number of prerelease events from 6 to 9, so there are some changes to our schedule. And to help keep you from being Totally Lost, here is a bunch of information all in once place!

Preorders

Before we get to the Prerelease, lets go over how you get War of the Spark into your hands. Preorders are open now for booster boxes and bundles of War of the Spark. Boxes are $100 each through Prerelease. Bundles will be $40 each. 

The Buy-a-Box promotion continues with War of the Spark, and for this set, it is Tezzeret, Master of the Bridge. This card is not in the set and buy-a-box is the way to get it. 

Prerelease - April 27th & 28th

with 9 events available, we are changing up the schedule. These are the times when events will start.

3 pm Sealed
7 pm 2HD Giant Sealed

Sunday
11 am 2 HD Giant Sealed
2 pm Sealed
4 pm Sealed
6 pm Sealed

Each of these events is going to be 3 rounds of Swiss pairings. Everyone in the event at the beginning of round 2 will get a booster pack of War of the Spark. 
Additional Booster packs will be given out based on match record:
2-1 will get 1 more booster
3-0 will get 4 more boosters.

Raffles and More prizes!

In addition to booster pack prizes and some great entertainment, we are giving away the following items as raffles. 

Avengers: Endgame tickets at the Studio Movie Grill - Each event will have 1 or 2 pairs of tickets given away as a raffle at the beginning of round 3. Any participant will be eligible to win these tickets, whether still in the event or not. However, you must be present to win, because those tickets are going to be for showings that day (for events that end before 7 pm).

Vraska / Aurelia Standee from Guilds of Ravnica - This will be raffled with the 11 am Saturday event.

Skysovereign constructable - This ship has been hanging in our store for a couple years, but it is time for it to find a new home. This raffle will happen during the 2 pm Sunday Sealed Event.
